Old Faithful is in the Upper Geyser Basin, one of the three large geyser basins along the Firehole River.

The Old Faithful Inn is a national historic landmark. Built in 1903-1904 with local logs and stone, the Inn is considered the largest log structure in the world.
The towering lobby features a massive stone fireplace and a hand-crafted clock made of copper, wood and wrought iron serving as focal points.
It's just stunning being there and we even managed to have dinner in the large dining room.

Of course, being so close to Old Faithful, one is just always waiting for the next eruption - at sunset, sunrise or during lunch on the terrace overlooking the Geyser.

It's very exciting being so close to the Geyser.
