Easter Sunday

We were awake in plenty of time for the Easter Sunday service (just under 5 hours before). It was a nice service and Edward was much admired. We walked back by way of the harbour where Edward, having informed us of his hunger, had a mid morning snack on a bench outside the Harbour Master’s office.

After lunch we set off for a walk along the beach towards Bamburgh, with Edward in the sling. On the way back Edward stood on the sand and jiggled his feet about a bit. It must have been a strange sensation for him!Читать далее

ПутешественникI don’t know why you didn’t go to the sunrise service at 5.45 am? Anyhow, glad you enjoyed Deacon Jackie’s service at Seahouses Methodist and Edward was much admired during coffee, even if he was asleep. I am so glad that Edward has had his feet in the sand. Beautiful boy, hope you sleep well tonight x could you please include godmother Penny on this blog?

ПутешественникSarah, I hope you can take a picture of Edward “paddling” in the sea for his Great Auntie Kathleen. She loves paddling ! Part of our upbringing on the Antrim coast!

ПутешественникLooks crowded on the beach - for Bamburgh. There must be at least twenty people within half a mile of you! Lovely to know all three of you are enjoying yourselves and made the most of Easter Day by waking early.
