    Ronda, Andalucia

    June 6, 2023 in Spain ⋅ ☁️ 25 °C

Great place to relax and soak in the scenery! Ronda is a busy scenic spot, with a huge gorge splitting the town in two. There are three bridges, if varying ages. Medieval to 1783. It’s a lovely well kept, clean and cheerful place. Lots of competition for cafes etc, but the staff are good humoured and efficient. Our hotel was the old town hall that was converted to a very spacious hotel or parador. We looked this title up, and it says ‘roadside bar! Not quite what the fairly superior staff would approve of🤣. It’s usually an interesting historical building.
This am we left early to make use of cooler temperatures and walked the town. Very well kept buildings, great museum, wonderful views.
Lunch in town, and would you believe it, vegetables! I was in the verge of buying multi/vitamin tabs!
Laundromat efforts achieved pm. Currently waiting for the Ronda Guitar Festival to start its recital.
Classical guitar; soloists from Denmark, Spain & Italy.
