Monkeys at the beach?

After we spend so many days traveling already.. and not really resting we decided to spend one day at the Beach in Mirissa which was the perfect decision! The Water was so nice and we just enjoyed our time relaxing.

Update on my phone: its still working and it is charging. We got all the Rice out and its now cleaner than before haha

Last Night we then went to get some Sri Lankan mosquito balm and some Lotion for Minor sunburns.
Our acommodation in Mirissa is so nice! We got typical Sri Lankan breakfast from the home owners in the morning (the breakfast is mostly spicey) and we found out that lots of monkeys also call this place home. At one point we saw 10 monkeys.. I guess these guys were keeping us awake at night :D also the house is only 200 m from the beach which makes it very convenient to spend a day there.

Mirissa itself is a really busy place and there is not that much to do besides the beach, but we had a nice dinner last night, got some Sri Lankan Cocktails with Arrack (Sri Lankan rum) at the beach and got to bed fairly early to get some rest before a next traveling day - Off to Ella next :)Baca selengkapnya
