Sigiriya - Pidurangala rock

On the last day in Sigiriya and the last day with our brother we decided to take it slower, relax at the pool until the afternoon and then go to Pidurangala rock to watch the Sunrise! Before the hike we looked at some other anchient ruins because they were on the way and then our Tuk Tuk dropped us Off at the Trail head.
We definitely didnt expect the hike to be so challenging.. we had to climb, walk through rock crevices and were sweating again alot. But the hike up was so worth it and we saw a Beautiful Sunset. Unfortunately there were alot of Monkeys that wanted to steal food and were quite aggressive. Farrah has some Cookies on the side of her backpack which the Monkeys spotted so they followed us for a while and stole the Cookies.
The way down Pidurangala was equally challenging as going up since there were so many people waiting in line but After 45 min we were able to get down.
After this hike we ended the Night with some chicken wraps, Beers and a Cocktail! Good last Night to celebrate!
Now off to the Beach for Farrah and me to learn how to Kitesurf and Lorenzo leaves for the Airport. Czytaj więcej
