Durham in the rain....☔️

The worst day of the weekend; weatherwise, wet, windy, and a little cold. Fortunately, we weren’t going far, just into Durham city centre. So after a leisurely breakfast, we soon found ourselves utilising the Durham Park & Ride Scheme and our FREE bus passes. Strolling around the centre, we avoided the showers by taking shelter in shops, coffee shops, and the Cathedral. Getting hungry, we phoned the hotel to book a table for the advertised late afternoon Sunday Roast Lunch, which again was delicious and worth going back for.Leggi altro
