    SB Day 9: Svolvær … A-Wander

    Leaving the Lofoten War Memorial Museum, we went for a stroll around town, heading in the direction of the church … even though we knew it was closed. We did find a few things of interest in the park behind the church, so the walk wasn’t for naught, and it gave us a chance to stretch our legs.

    We returned to the ship shortly before it was due to depart from Svolvær. For some reason, though, the ship was delayed by almost an hour. Perhaps a ship’s excursion late returning to the ship. Or, to ensure we passed m/s Havila Capella for the traditional flag waving between the two ships.    Read more
