    While I was preparing for today’s outing, Mui went out to run some errands. While he was out and about, he stopped to check out the ‘local color’ at the Ortigia Market … including decorated Piaggio Ape cars (more specifically, the passenger model … Ape Celessino) … which serve as tuk-tuks around Old Town.

    This morning market is open daily … except Sunday. Unlike so many city markets that have shifted their focus to tourists, this one remains a place where locals shop daily. Just the kind of market Mui enjoys visiting.    Read more
