There’s nothing left from what was once a 6th century monastic site. So, why go there? Because there are other things to see. Namely, a 9th century round tower and a high cross.

Before leaving Graiguenamanagh, we made a quick stop at Duiske Abbey.

Moving Day ... from County Kilkenny to County Kerry ... through County Tipperary to check out a couple of sites.
Our first stop after leaving Kilkenny was the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. Our early departure from Fanad House ensured our arrival at this iconic site ahead of the crowds.

旅行者 Makes me homesick for Ireland. What I loved most about being there, those puffy whites and blues and greens and old stone.
Two to Travel I even tried to desaturate what came out of the camera just a bit because the colors did not look real.
