    We left the picnic site and turned the wrong way. The sun was on the wrong side, we were driving south-east. Nevertheless, we meandered along the jungle-like mountain pass and found a mossy cliff face with water plunging down it. We showered and filled our waterbottles with ice cold mountain-filtered sweet delicious water. After turning around we drove back to the picnic site, and headed north-west to the coast. In the middle of the mountains we saw a fuel station , but even though the tank reading showed half, took the opportunity to fill up. Standing in the shade in front of the car, I felt a wet sensation on my ankles. "Somethings splashing me" I yelled. " It's petrol!". STOP the pump. A moment of intense activity as Brausch stopped the pump, rolled the car away from the fule lines and looked aghast at all the fuel on the forecourt under where the car had been. The clamp holding the fuel filler pipe to the fuel tank had unclamped. So grovelling on the ground with our trusty toolbox, Brausch wired it up. We had an audience of beautiful birds.
