Hong Kong - Day 2

We woke up at about 10.30 slightly jet lagged and decided to head to Mongkok to the ladies market on the MTR. After an easy journey, we wandered around the market making a few purchases and looked around the surrounding area. As we had to get back to Hong Kong Island, we wandered down through Jordan down Nathan Road towards TST where we looked at the city in the day and it was certainly just as impressive! After taking some pictures and taking in the view, we got the star ferry again (for a whopping 37p) back over to Wan Chai. After getting off a very busy Star Ferry - due to it being a Sunday - we walked towards the Grand Hyatt hotel where we were meeting Christine and Barry for afternoon tea. We were absolutely spoilt with the most delicious food and company and came out feeling so full that we won’t have to eat for a few days! After leaving them we headed up the peak on the bus and got a front spot at the viewing platform for the lights show at 8pm. It was as amazing as I remember, and we were so lucky it was such a clear night! An amazing day!Meer informatie
