Vietnam - day 12

Today was SUCH a good day. Woke up and all had breakfast together before setting off on our motorbike tour of Hue. We each had a driver and sat on the back of the bikes which was so so much fun! Went to Thanh Toan Bridge in the cutest town, the abandoned water park which was so cool but weird! An old fort and then we headed to make incense and whilst we were there it started pouring down! All bought ponchos even our drivers and we continued with the tour. Went to the elephant tiger arena where they used to fight - was amazing you could see scratches on the walls from tiger claws. We then headed to the ancient city. Luckily the weather started to clear up so we walked to a place for some Vietnamese lunch and beers - was delicious! When we got back a Vietnamese teacher had bought 5 pupils to our hostel who were learning English and asked us if we minded listening to their presentations as they had an English exam the next day - they were so cute and amazing at English! After this we Had free beers at 6pm from the hostel and ended up playing beer pong with loads of people from our hostel - Ellie and I were on a team and we were so sick!
