Lakeside Beach State Park NY

Made it here on what must be the worst road in the US, Lake Ontario State Parkway, 2 lanes so bumpy Stew drove on the hardshoulder at 15mph. The park is lovely & almost deserted on a Monday. Took a walk along the lake & spotted a deer feeding on a bush. Temps today are in the 70s, even feels a bit fresh with the breeze, but welcome after the roasting we've had recently. Heading to an expensive ($70pn) campground near Niagara Falls for a touristy day tomorrow. Gobsmacked when the google map guy told us to turn right on 'Saunders Settlement Road' !!!!Leggi altro
