High Falls State Park - GA

Georgia had a dry summer, so not a lot of water flowing over the falls, which are below a damned lake, so got up close by climbing down to the rocks. Staying in the campground for a few days & it gets chilly overnight, mid 40f. Leaves on the oaks are huge & falling, hike through the forest back to the falls was great. We are enjoying our last few days here. Special wildlife sitings are the armadillos nosing their way through the leaves looking for food !!Read more
