Mammoth Cave NP - KY

Mammoth Cave system is the longest in the world (405 miles and growing) and is a World Heritage Site. At the visitor centre we picked up trail maps, booked a couple of cave tours for later on in the week and looked round the exhibit. Then had a great hike through the lush forest down to Echo River which flows out of the cave system and back up via the Mammoth Dome Sink Hole.
