Cool Springs Church - Mammoth Cave NP

Drove out for a recce after the tour and crossed the Green River Ferry (very efficient and free). Round the Maple Springs Loop we stopped at the trailhead parking and walked out to Cool Springs Church and Cemetery. These are the only signs left that the National Park was once populated with small communities. It must of been a hard life as so many of the graves were of people in their 20s and 30s and infants.
