A Fyne New Year Walk

A short walk down the lane from the house takes us to the shores of Loch Fyne. The weather was sunny and calm perfect for walking, paddle boarding (our neighbour’s daughter) and swimming ??? YepBaca lagi

Lag walk to beach through a wood with carpets of Bluebells, Celandine, Wild Garlic, scents were amazing.

Road Trip with M&D

Trip out Tayvallich to Crinan (Canal) to Kilmichael- Glassary. Great time of year with new leaves on the trees and bluebells everywhere.
Kintyre West Coast Drive

Coast road drive with M&D Tarbert to Lochgilphead. Great views over the sea to the Isle of Jura.

Cycle Up The Crinan Canal

Great day for picnic on the canal, bluebells are still looking good, scent is amazing.

Rhododendrons in Bloom

Circular walk from our house, great views along Loch Fyne. Gorse blooms over, rhododendrons take centre stage.
Loch Choille-Bharr Circuit

A pleasant walk round the Loch looking out for signs of beavers which were introduced here in 2009. No beavers, however plenty of evidence they are about. Past the abandoned settlement of Kilmory Oib.
Loch Awe

Drive out to Loch Awe, great views down the Loch from an overlook. Lovely walk through MacKenzie Grove, huge trees and the remains of a crannog in the Loch.
Arduaine Gardens

Run by the National Trust for Scotland at the Loch Melfort. Visited with friends Louise and Steve. Wonderful wander through the trees and so many unusual plants. Even found the Johnstone rhododendronBaca lagi
