One More Day to Go

Later today I have my Covid test so I can get on a plane to start my trip - one week in Boston and eight in Costa Rica. I must admit, I am filled with excitement and also fear. Seeing my sister and brother after more than two years is a real treat. And who could not enjoy Costa Rica - it is warm and sunnier. And I get to take 6 weeks of Spanish lessons. The pandemic thing is the thing.

What I'm really excited about is traveling with my friend, Gail Gabler for the first week there. She is a recent retiree, and I love getting back to visit Monteverde (tropical cloud forest) and to the beach with her. We organized the ERA reunion in Chicago back in 2018 bringing together a hundred women who led and worked on the ERA campaigns in the 70's and early 80's. We had a blast. I'm anticipating more of the same.
