Summer fruits here are amazing in their variety, shapes, and sizes. Here are some that I got a chance to taste: Las frutas aquí son asombrosas en sus variedades, formas y tamaños. Aquí hay algunas que puedes probar:

Caimito is this beautiful round purple fruit. It has some large seeds. It tastes a little like a blackberry but sweeter. You eat it with a spoon. Delicious!
Caimito - Es una bonita redonda fruta morada. Tiene algunas semillas largas. El sabor es como mora pero más dulce. Se come con una cucharita. ¡Que delicioso!

Sapote is not going to win any beauty contests, but it is absolutely heavenly. It has a big seed in the middle - I got one with twin-seeds (Both Jensy and I are both twins - it was a sign.) It cuts like an avocado and has the same smooth texture. It is very sweet and creamy. If you get a chance if you come to visit, this one can be found more easily than the others.
Sapote - La fruta no va a ganar un concurso de belleza, pero es absolutamente del cielo. Tiene una gran semilla en el centro - conseguí una con semillas gemelas (Jensy y yo somos gemelas - es una señal) Es similar de un aguacate con textura suave, y es muy dulce y cremosa. Si tienes la oportunidad de probarla, pruébala.

Manzana de agua (Water apple) looks like a pear but is red on the outside and white inside. It isn’t very sweet, but it is fresh and tasty like a pear. I liked it a lot.

Granadilla looks horrible. A bit like snot with little seeds in it. Yum! But this fruit is really delicious. It is sweet, and I love the way the seeds are the consistency of Rice Crispies. I have one in the fridge right now waiting for after I post this. Granadilla parece horrible. Parece como muscos. ¡Ñam ñam! Pero es deliciosa. Es dulce y me encanta la manera que las semillas son crujientes como Rice Crispies. Tengo una en la refrigeradora ahora mismo esperando desde publico esta.
