Day 5 Betanzos to Beche Camp

We woke up to a rainy Spain, and apart from the occasional brief glimpses of sunshine, it remained so all day. The hotel was okay, but we both had a terrible night sleep. After a not so great breakfast, we headed off. This time, Pilar and the others opted for a baggage transfer, which came as a blessing for Michas feet. The route today was longer, circa. 16 km, but time seemed to pass fairly quickly. We were at our scheduled stop by early afternoon, and the 3 amigos (without rucksacks) jumped in a taxi whilst I ventured back out into the rain. I carried on for an uphill trek through the woods to our final destination of Beche Ecocamp that appeared through the misty rain and offered beautiful accommodation looking out over a lake. Inga and Micha chose to eat early in the resort restaurant and stayed in the cabin for the evening. Pilar and I, following a welcome Siesta headed by taxi back to the last stop for food.
