Good Bye Oregon....onto Idaho

We said good bye to Meghan and Kristen today at the Eugene, Oregon airport. We're so glad they were able to spend time traveling with us. Though we played games, had a campfire, and ate smores like we did on family camping trips when they were younger, we were traveling with young adults who had settled into productive lives of their own on this trip. We couldn't be prouder. The remainder of the day was a travel day. Our route is now east bound with our first destination being Sun Valley, Idaho to see our friends Jenn, Brian, Wyatt and Dakota Barth. This section of the country again provided a varied landscape. We went from the tall pines that formed a canopy across the road to a desert like fields through the Great Basin. We even came upon fields of onions in Vale, Oregon the onion capital of the country.Read more
