    Today we are flying out from Sydney to LA we are very excited! We caught the train to the airport it was very easy and got a big snooze in. Fingers crossed they change our seats so we can sit next to each other on this 14 hour ride.Leer más

    LA-HOLLYWOOD-BEVERLY HILLS

    We had the best day today! Landed in LAX early and got a shuttle to our hotel, checked in and went straight for a nap ready to face the day! When we got up we went around the corner and got my SIM card to call home along with a light refreshment 🥛 once we organise that we caught an uber to Hollywood boulevard where we seen all the ⭐️ stars along the walk way and visited the wax museum another ✅ off the bucket list! We then caught a tour bus from there to the Hollywood sign look out and down town to Beverly Hills, we seen heaps of famous actors and singers houses and also seen the palace where Michael Jackson passed away! Once we finished the tour we kicked straight onto the NBA game watching the LA Lakers be defeated (unfortunately) by the Charlotte Hornets! Toby and I both got a jersey for the Lakers and loved the atmosphere at the staple centre! Uber-ed it home and now time to hit the sack ready for universal studios tomorrow 🎉Leer más

    Universal Studio & Santa Monica

    What an awesome day! We went VIP into universal and it was so good, we started off with breaky in the VIP section then headed out to check out the Harry Potter section of the park. We met our tour leader Mark at 9:45 and he kick started the tour with heading back to the Harry Potter sections going on two rides but we got to head straight to the front of the line because of our VIP passes! (we thought we the shit hahaha) this section was just amazing it had all the shops like off the movie and all the lollies like Harry had on the train people actually paid top dollar for fake wonds and all, we had this thing called a butter beer that was actually just like a caramel shake it was very nice! Jurassic park was next and once again we felt like the shit because we got given plastic ponchos from mark the tour guide so we didn't get wet.
    We headed to lunch a couple rides later and the meal was a buffet it was so yummy! Toby had like three plates and almost shit him self on the way to meet back to meet our group.
    The tour of the actual studios was the part that really had us think omg we are here! We seen sets where the pirates of the Caribbean was filmed and also where jaws was filmed.
    When we finished up at universal we headed to Santa Monica pier and had a ride on the Ferris wheel. We walked out to the end and went into this bait shop where we brought a magnet and seen the whole shop inside was covered with money from all over the world with messages and names marked on them! So we pulled out a five buck note from home and put our names and 2018 and added it!
    Lastly we ended the day at Bubba Gumps for dinner then caught an uber back to the motel we got some bloke named Blair he was like 50 and was really cool he told us all about his new girlfriend and how the rekindled their love after years and years. We are pretty sure he kept missing turns so he could keep chatting to us he even got his girlfriend on FaceTime to talk to us about where she went in Australia! What a day!!    Leer más

    San Diego

    We joined our top deck tour today and the craziest thing ever happened! Another couple from Cessnock our age is on the tour the girl works at Coles and the guy is doing the same trade as Toby!
    This was so freaky because the fortune teller Diane told me we would meet another couple and the boy would do the same trade as Toby and we would get on well with them and we have! They are lovely we know people they know and all!
    We went into San Diego and went to mission beach and rode bikes along the there! We had tacos for lunch they were really nice!
    We left there after lunch and heading into down town San Diego for a tour of where to go tomorrow and to see where the zoo is and the museums ready, we then got dropped off at old Mexico which was really cool, we visited a grave site from the 1800 and went to a shop called Toby's candle and soap shop!
    We headed to dinner for more Mexican it was a huge meal just like we had been told it would be! We have now headed to our hotel room with the rest of our group and we are getting ready to head out for an organised bar crawl with beer pong and all! We are pretty excited hopefully we don't get screwed over by he free pour!( they don't measure their spirits and just pour however much in) and that's a wrap for day three we love our top deck group and are very excited for the zoo tomorrow 😊    Leer más

    San Diego Zoo

    We had a big day today we woke up and had breaky at the hotel we are staying at. We then headed to the zoo with our tour group it was awesome we seen flamingos in real life for the first time and rode a double decka bus around the park! We seen a two week old baby giraffe and all.
    After the zoo we headed to the air and space museum where we seen the capsule of the apollos nine that carried the first men to space! Toby was loving it 😂 after there we got an uber to a small shopping centre and had a look around before we walked back to our hotel.
    We are so tired and are going to get ready for dinner and then hit the sack early ready to head to Prescott tomorrow which will be a big day of driving but a good chance to see the country and have a bit of a chilled out day! That's all for day 4    Leer más

    Prescott Arizona

    We had a big day driving today from San Diego to Prescott Arizona. We stoped for lunch at a popular American dinner called in and out the food was so good it was all fresh and the chips were cut right there, they only have three types of burgers and they were like $2 each! We also went through a check stop because we were so close to the Mexican boarder.
    We went out for dinner in Prescott and then all of a sudden we looked out the window and it was snowing! It was the first lot of snow they have had this season it was very excited! We are now at a little country bar listening to classic songs and chatting away! Ready to head to the canyon tomorrow 👍🏼    Leer más

    Sedona - Flagstaff Arizona

    First stop of the day was Sedona look out, Sedona is a little town on the way to the Grand Canyon and is well known for its sandstone red rock mountains it was very pretty! Toby and I had lunch at a little cowboy sort of place and it was delicious we had sweet potato chips and all, we then headed over to our tour of the Sedona red mountains in a jeep! It was a little bit scary but we were very lucky because the mountain tops were covered in snow from the night before so it made the view 10x more amazing! We then headed to Flagstaff, it is full on snowing here so very cold we called in at Walmart and got some supplies ready for the cold weather tomorrow 🤞🏽 fingers crossed there will be snow at the canyon tomorrow!Leer más

    The Grand Canyon

    Today we flew over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter and it was amazing! We were to lucky because it snowed the night before and the contrast of white snow to red rock was beautiful!
    We then drove from where we flew to the south rim of the Canyon and walker along it and had some lunch.
    We are now back at where we are staying in flagstaff about to head to dinner, but the Canyon was truely amazing 😍    Leer más

    Horseshoe bend

    Today we traveled from Flagstaff to a native reserve where we visited a Native American art shop and seen where they live and how their community works, they have their own government and president with in the reserve and own laws!
    We then went to horseshoe bend where we hiked out to the cliff face it was so scary but really pretty to see, the river that ran through the canal was the Colorado river. There were so many Asian tourists out there getting way to close to the edge it was crazy!
    We then called into a place called Page where we had Mexican for lunch and then we were off again, we are staying the night at Knab and just went to a cowboy show, we where the characters! It was pretty funny but the food was really good like a home cooked meal we had roast beef, salad, beans, Dutch oven potatoes and damper! It was a really good experience 👍🏼    Leer más

    Angels landing-Zion National park-Vegas

    Today we got up early and headed to Zion national park. We were under the impression we were going to do a hike similar to Yakabar only longer and a little bit harder, what Angels landing had in store for us was not even imaginable! We walked for an hour to what was called the look out a series of zig zagging bends to the top then we had to walk around the edge of this cliff holding onto chains. We then got to the part where we could see the top and thought no way! Not in a million years would we get to the top it was walking across one section to the other with drop offs either sides and no chains the whole way along! Toby was shitting him self, we waited at this section for about half an hour before we were about to head back. We also got our photo to say we made it half way! Even girls in our group had said, that's it for us we are not going any further. Then come along Tracey and American man that basically guilted us into it, he had climbed it twice before and said we were so close and had to do it! Toby had started to go back around the corner, I yelled "Toby I am going with the girls ", "I'm going to the top" his reply was "no your not! Your not going" I then said again "I am going" so he turned back and said " well I guess I have to go then" we started to hike to the top and it was bloody tough and was probably the most scariest thing I have done in my life! The view was definitely worth every minute of fear!
    We made it back down to the bottom safely and very proud of our selves! We are now on route to Vegas to get on our party bus, we cannot wait!    Leer más

    Las Vegas

    We arrived last night in Vegas, we are staying at the golden nugget. We got off the bus and dropped our bags at our room and headed straight to the DFO and got some party clothes! We then went back to our room on the way picked up some burgers and ate dinner, got ready and headed to the party bus.
    The bus was so much fun, we stoped at a drive through wedding chapel ( don't stress mum we didn't tie the knot 😂) then also stopped at the Vegas sign!
    Once the bus finished it dropped us at the Bellagio casino where we went to the night club, we watched the water works out the front from the roof top club! After the Bellagio we headed to Cesars Palace night club and it was crazy! Every so often streamers dropped from the roof and all!
    We headed on back to the room where we got a good nights sleep ready for today.
    Toby and I started the day with breaky down stairs and then we headed to a shooting range it was insane, they even picked us up in an Army jeep! Toby shot huge guns and I shot one small one. After the range we walked down the main strip getting lunch at Denny's and did some shopping as well as booked a show called Zumanity to go see tonight with our friends from Cessnock.
    We called back to the room quickly got ready for the Ferris wheel bar tonight then we are going to see and show and we may have a punt or two 😊 We definitely did not have enough time in Vegas but god we are fitting in a lot of things! Ready to head to the snow tomorrow ❄️    Leer más

    Las Vegas - Lake Tahoe

    What a big day! We left Vegas early this morning and have been driving all day towards Lake Tahoe, it was a good day to catch up on some rest from our big couple of days.
    Last night we went on a massive Ferris wheel called the high roller in Las Vegas it was awesome, each big cart carries 20 odd people and there is a bar in the centre. It was amazing to see the city at night from the cart the views were just unreal. We then headed to the show we had organised to see by Cirque Du Seoul with our Cessnock friends, it was hilarious a drag queen ran the show, have I said enough...
    Once the show was over we headed to dinner at a rooftop bar across from the Bellagio which gave us the best view of the water show out the front of the casino. We then headed to both the Bellagio and Caesars Palace for abbey then headed home to hit the sack ready for our long drive today! We have a group dinner at an Italian place tonight then we will be having an early night ready for skiing in the morning ⛷❄️    Leer más

    Lake Tahoe

    We had a great day skiing today! It is a lot different from skiing in Australia that's for sure, you catch a lift called a gondola up to the slopes from the closest town.
    They haven't had a lot of snow fall yet but we were lucky because it snowed today, the views from the lifts were spectacular!
    We headed home from the slopes and did some washing and got some takeaway Mexican with a few new friends and are ready to get to bed. Very keen for another day up there tomorrow!    Leer más

    We had a great day exploring San Fran, the only bad part was that the weather was very miserable and the fog was so heavy we couldn't see the Golden Gate Bridge! So we are off to see that today. We went and seen the painted ladies which is a group of really old houses that are painted different colours they are very pretty to see. Before dinner we went to see Pier 39 and the sea lions that live just off the deck.
    We went out for dinner at boudins for a soup in a sour dough bowl which was a great idea considering the weather.
    After dinner we went to an arcade inside of a bar which was fun, and then home to bed to get well rested ready for Alcatraz.    Leer más

    San Francisco

    We had the best day in San Fran today! We started our day at Alcatraz and did an audio tour of the cells wearing head phones, which told us all the stories and events of what happened. We then headed back on the ferry just in time to head to the fisher mans wharf near pier 39 for some fish and chips for lunch.
    After lunch we headed fraught to the Golden Gate Bridge to get a photo so we could tick another thing off our bucket list ✅ once we finally got to see the bridge without any fog(carl) lying around we headed to Hyde st to catch the tram up to union square where we did a bit of shopping. We walked back to Lombard st where he worlds craziest st lies with all its bends and on the way walked through China town. We eventually made it back to where we fist got on the tram and then headed towards where we are staying to get ready for a Chinese dinner!
    All in all it was an amazing day exploring all that San Fran has to offer 🙌🏽    Leer más

    San Fran - LA

    Well it was back to LA we went. We left San Fran early this morning and traveled on the bus with ten others that were left. San Francisco was an amazing place but at the same time an eye opener to the mass amount of homeless population that reside there, it was incredible how many people were on the streets! Last night we walked home from a bar with eight others from the tour through a section of San Fran called the Tenderloin, this section of the city is home to majority of the homeless population and boy was it scary! In San Fran history tells a story of the homelessness being caused by quite a lot of mental health problems and other cities sending their homeless peoples the San Fran, ironic that it is one of the most expensive cities in the state of California.
    Any way we made it to LA and said good bye to some our beautiful tour guide Laura she was absolutely amazing 🙌🏽
    And our crazy bus driver Teresa! 😂
    We headed back to Santa Monica pier to see it in the day and watch the sunset with our friends that were left, we headed down to muscle park next to the pier that was full of gymnastics equipment that any one can use! We then headed to dinner with our friends Nicole, Chris, Jade and Gaby. We went to the Cheesecake Factory and it was bloody beautiful. After that we headed back to the pier for our friends that hadn't seen it to get photos and then we headed back to the room after a lot of sad goodbyes. We have another big day of travel tomorrow we have to be up at 4 to head to the air port ready to fly out to New York at 7am we are very excited 😊

    Recap on the friends we made
    Caitlin and Jordan- our beautiful Cessnock friends, it took us a 14 hour trip to the other side of the world to meet and we get on with the like a house on fire!

    Gaby- The beautiful and crazy Gabriella Chrissy Wallace who is from Melbourne and works at the commonwealth bank! She was easily one of our favourites and made the trip and bus rides a load of fun.

    Jade- Jade was an awesome girl who is also from Melbourne and is a Gymnastics coach! She loved the boys and constantly gave us a lot of laughs through her raunchy jokes 😂

    Nichole and Chris- these guys were really lovely, they lI've in Adelaide and also just recently brought and house and moved out! We had a lot in common with them, they kept us organised and well entertained with their constant arguments on who was right!

    We also made friends with the whole of the bus but the few above we would love to keep in contact with ❤️
    Some of the others were
    Andy- crazy sub mariner who spent way too much money at the stripers
    Anna- she was a teacher from tazzy and spoke like crocodile dun dee
    Emma- a PE teacher from Perth who was allergic to nuts
    Alana- she had to fly home from Vegas for her brothers wedding but her time with us was really fun she loved a drink and a slut drop hahaha she was mates with Emma
    Marcus- an Aussie who currently resides in Amsterdam working and we were unsure whether he liked girls or guys
    Cara- a crazy sluty New Zealand girl who was always down for a good time
    Alex and Ryan- a friend combo from Melbourne who fought like old women and were a little strange by nice
    Gen and Katie- he also known as button because she was as cute as a button😂 and her sister Katie who was ab old prude too good for everyone
    Taylor- a kiwi guy who loved pole dancing and busting his moves out after a few drinks
    Meagan- she was from Brisbane and had been working at disney land she was only 19 so couldn't come out with us but was always up for a few bevs back at the room
    Lerinda- she worked with Meagan at Disney and was a bit of an antisocial Aussie Asian
    Zoe- rich Asian girl from Brisbane who said she was a vegetarian but one night ate a chicken pasta
    Kadie- was a girl from the UK but had been working in Canada for the past 12 months she had a lot of cool story's to tell
    Grace- was a nurse from Brisbane who was lovely and very easy to get along with
    Heather- she had just finished a Topdeck with the same guide and then stared ours straight after

    LAX - JFK New York

    We got up very early for a 7am flight from Los Angeles toward New York, the flight went pretty quickly and we finally arrived in New York!
    We got a shuttle from the air port and it took forever to get to our hotel but once we finally got settled in we went straight down the road to Times Square. It was amazing to see, all the lights and people putting on shows in the middle was really cool.
    We headed to dinner and had a feast we hadn't eaten since breaky so we really did dig in! Once we were finished we wondered back to our rooms and went to bed early ready for a big day tomorrow.    Leer más

    What a great day👍🏼
    We started off with meeting our friends Caitlin and Jordan for breaky, after we traveled on the subway towards the cruise line doc where we caught a cruise boat around New York seeing some of the popular attractions like the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge!
    We then headed towards the 9/11 memorial and museum which was very interesting and extremely sad! It was definitely an eye opener.
    Once we explored the museum we headed out to a very nice Italian restaurant, we visited the ice skating rink at the Rockefeller building and checked it out ready for tomorrow night.
    We said goodnight to our mates and did a little shopping in Times Square on the way back to our room! We are currently laying in bed getting ready to get some shut eye for our big day tomorrow! Stay tuned for our next adventure in New York 🙌🏽    Leer más

    We had a great day today! We woke up when ever we liked for the first time since we have been on the holiday it was so good to sleep in for a bit. We headed down to Tiffany's where we found out we couldn't have breaky because there was a month long waiting list!
    I brought a beautiful pendant to wear at a necklace and also I can clip it onto my bracelet that I got off toby for my 21st.
    We headed to lunch and then back to Tiffany's to pick up the pendant. We also went and visited the NBA store and the Adidas store which is the largest store in the world!
    After our shopping adventures we went to the National History Museum where they filmed night at the museum. We caught the subway back to our hotel and got ready to meet up with our friends for some NY pizza and then ice skating at the Rocker Fella centre, god toby and I were hopeless at it! When we finished ice skating we went up to the top of the Rocker Fella and the view was surreal, we could see the Statue of Liberty through the binoculars as well!
    On the way back to our rooms we called in at Juniors for some desert, where it was supposed to be home to America's best Cheesecake but we still think the Cheesecake Factory takes the cake 😊    Leer más

    We went every where yesterday!
    - Empire state building
    - Central Park
    We rode on horse and carriage around the park and seen heaps of dog walkers, like actual ones they were walking about 20 dogs at the one time! The park was huge
    - The plaza food court (we had dumplings and they were amazing)
    - Maddison Square Garden
    Unfortunately Maddison Square was closed to go inside due to them setting up ready for the Grammys, but we went out the front and looked at the outlay of just how big it is inside.
    - Central Station
    We had to go see central station it was in my favourite Rv show gossip girl so it was only fitting we took a photo 😂
    - Broadway
    We watched The Book of Mormon at broadway and it was amazing ! It was by far the best show I have ever seen.    Leer más

    Today we had a chilled out day, we woke up late and had brunch. I got to have my first ever bagel! We went on a double decka bus tour of up town and down town New York! Our tour guide Paul was a very interesting fella too. We seen the flat iron building which is triangular in shape, along with the NY library which is the second biggest in the world, Harlem was an eye opener as it was very different to Manhattan it seemed to be where all the black people lived and was definitely a poorer suburb. After both tours we went back to the room to get changed for dinner and headed to an Irish pub 🍀 I got the bangas and mash and it was so good! We went back to our room and had an early night, I was really good to have a bit of a rest because we have been so flat out since we got here!Leer más

    We had a great day today! We started with breakfast at a little cafe off Times Square and it was delicious we will definitely be going back there tomorrow morning 😊
    We headed towards the famous Masy's for a look around and it was very overwhelming it was like David Jones on steroids 😂 we had a bit of a shop and look around the streets before we headed back to drop off our goodies and head to Central Park!
    The whole lake at Central Park was completely frozen over, we walked through to the Metropolitan museum of art and got a photo on the Met steps like off the TV show Gossip girl! We explored the museum until Toby got bored of it 😂 then headed back through the park to the subway to head to the Australian bar. When we got there they had no tables left for us and it was $10 a head just to go in for a drink and it was only 5:30pm what the hell!!! So we didn't go there even though we tried to be a bit patriotic. We headed to 9th st because the guide the other day said the food in that street was always very good, we ended up getting Thai for dinner and it was lovely. We headed back to our room after dinner getting a cheesecake on the way back and packed our bags up to see if everything would fit ready to fly to Hawaii tomorrow 💫    Leer más

    New York - LA - Hawaii

    Well today we say goodbye to New York! We visited Times Square one last time to get some breakfast close bye and a little shopping before we headed back to our room to gather our our bags that are bursting by the seams to head to the airport!
    New York was definitely a highlight and we loved a lot about it but we are very excited for some warmer weather. When we finally arrived in Hawaii our transfer didn't show up! So at 1 in the morning after waiting for ages we decided to uber it to our hotel ready to hit the sack! Our uber driver was a unit, but he made the trip go pretty quick with all his storeys thanks for picking us up Albert!
    We were so happy to make it to Hawaii and to pull out some shorts and thongs 👍🏼

    What a lovely day we have had today! We started the day off with a ripper of a breakfast at our hotel it was so yummy, at this rate I think I will be the size of a house by the time I get back. We had a walk around the streets and then straight to the beach for a swim, we grabbed a salad for lunch to try and even it all out because we are going to the Cheesecake Factory again for dinner! They have the best food and cheesecake that does not disappoint ❤️
    We rode the trolley cart around some of the island and seen some beautiful beaches. We then got dropped off to a shopping centre for some light browsing 😂 we then got picked up by the trolley and taken back to our hotel, we are currently making our selves beautiful ready for dinner    Leer más
