A Lazy Sunday Morning

After two days of covering London almost entirely on foot, I decided to do something I rarely do while travelling.

I went back to the hotel…

…and had a nap.

Turns out I’m not quite as young as I used to be.

An hour of doing absolutely nothing turned out to be exactly what my legs needed before setting off again.

The next mission of the day was finding a ticket for tonight’s musical.

I made my way to the official ticket booth at Leicester Square, hoping to finally see Avenue Q.

No luck.

It doesn’t play on Sundays.

Plan B?

Wicked.

Also no luck.

There was only an afternoon performance, which didn’t fit my plans for the day.

That left one option I knew very little about.

Titanique.

A musical based on Titanic…

…with the music of Céline Dion.

I had absolutely no idea what I was about to get myself into.

Perfect.

Ticket secured, I set off to continue exploring London before curtain call.Read more
