Ephesus and Mary’s house

Another wonderful meal in Salt restaurant with local delicacies and local wines. An early night as a big day in Kusadasi Turkey awaits.
The weather is cloudy and we get quite wet walking through Ephesus however our enthusiasm for the site is not dampened!
Amazing tour of the site and the museum and the basilica of St John before the trip up the mountain to the house of the Virgin Mary and more rosary beads than you can poke a stick at!
It is an amazing experience and light a candle and say a prayer.
Off to lunch and it’s pouring now so our evening outdoor concert looks like it will be canceled. Ces’t La vie.
We have had so much Mediterranean sunshine - so we can’t complain.
There is a huge princess ship in but we manage to skirt most of the crowded areas.
So many cats here as well. So beautiful!Read more
