    Nuremberg Day 1

    June 14, 2023 in Germany ⋅ ☁️ 22 °C

Today we left Regensburg and caught the train to Nuremberg, which thankfully was on time and a smooth journey. We walked 8 minutes from the enormous train station to our accommodation and struggled to get into our accommodation. We weren’t able to check in straight away so we left our bags in lockers and went out for Vietnamese for lunch to kill some time. The food was delicious and we devoured it. We then walked around the streets of the old town and it is just gorgeous.

We went home for a rest and Tegan decided to do some reading and uni work while Steve went to find some breweries and walk around town.

We ate yummy falafels for dinner and went for an evening stroll through town. It is a beautiful place and we are keen to do a walking tour to learn more about Nuremberg. In the Second World War this was the most bombed place in Germany.
