Unser Weg Richtung Norden führt uns diesmal durch Pisa. Wofür ist Pisa bekannt? Genau - den schiefen Turm. Wir schauten uns die Kathedrale, den Friedhof mit Erde aus Jerusalem an, ebenso die Taufkirche und die zwei Museen dazu. Die Kathedrale und die Taufkirche waren mit vielen Details geschmückt. Es ist toll zu sehen, wie die Fresken entstanden sind und auch heute noch erhalten werden. Eine Kaffeepause mit süßen Tartes und Brioche durfte natürlich auch nicht fehlen 🥐🤤.
Michael fand einen Flyer zu einer Hokusai-Ausstellung, und so besuchten wir auch diese, bevor es weiterging. Spannend, wie es mit Holzdruck möglich war, die Bilder in verschiedenen Farben zu drucken. Nicht zur Hochsaison zu verreisen hat seine Vor- und Nachteile. Es ist super, dass nicht so viele Touristen unterwegs sind, allerdings haben auch einige Restaurants und Geschäfte geschlossen...
Danach ging es weiter zur nächsten Destination - La Spezia!

Michael found a flyer for a Hokusai exhibition, so we visited it before continuing. It's exciting how it was possible to print the images in different colors using wood printing. Traveling not during the high season has its advantages and disadvantages. It's great that there are not so many tourists around, but some restaurants and shops are closed...
