Early start and breakfast on the road in Kirby Stephen- in the sun!! That was the last we saw of the sun. However it stayed dry and cool with little wind and the ascent to Tan Hill was done by morning coffee. Britain's highest pub- notorious for snow bound lock- ins- latterly with an Oasis tribute band. Definitely maybe. The Pennines are big sky country - extensive views of... moorland. But a great rolling descent past Whar ( what is it good for?) and into Reeth and an amazing bike cafe. Then more downhill round lots of tank practice areas, a scenic picnic between a quarry and the M1, and more bucolic England- shire and home for the night with a pint of Timothy Taylor's.もっと詳しく
旅行者Sounds like a great day in the hills. Just a necessary Randfield observation tho... if you're near Richmond it'll be the A1M not the M1
