Zwei Spots. Zwei Geschichten.

"Das schönste Gebirgstal von Norwegen – Innerdalen – liegt im Landschaftsschutzgebiet Trollheimen in Sunndal und zeichnet sich durch tiefe Täler, steile Berghänge und eine fruchtbare Landschaft aus.

Das Innerdalen ist bekannt für seine schöne Natur und bietet zahlreiche gute Wandermöglichkeiten. Besonders bekannt ist der Berg Innerdalstårnet, der mit seiner 1.394 Meter hohen, natürlichen Spitze wie eine Kathedrale im Tal thront. Unten im Tal glitzert das kristallklare Wasser, und aus den Gletschern plätschern Bäche und kleine Flüsse herunter.

"Flåøya bietet eine interessante Kulturlandschaft mit Spuren menschlicher Aktivitäten von der Steinzeit bis heute. Während der Eisenzeit war Flå zentral im Sunndalsfjord gelegen, und es gibt zahlreiche Gräber auf der Insel aus der Völkerwanderungszeit bis zur Wikingerzeit. Viele dieser Gräber enthalten Grabbeigaben.

In diesem Bereich befinden sich auch die jüngsten Gräber der Insel aus der Wikingerzeit. Auf den höchsten Gipfeln der Insel liegen die ältesten Gräber auf Flåøya mit Funden aus der Völkerwanderungszeit. Es gibt auch hervorragende Aussichtspunkte mit Blick sowohl auf das Meer als auch ins Landesinnere Richtung Fjord."

"Norway’s most beautiful mountain valley—Innerdalen—is located within the Trollheimen Landscape Protection Area in Sunndal and is characterized by deep valleys, steep mountain slopes, and a fertile landscape.

Innerdalen is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and offers excellent hiking opportunities. The mountain Innerdalstårnet is particularly famous; with its natural 1,394-meter peak, it towers over the valley like a cathedral. Down in the valley, crystal-clear water sparkles, while streams and small rivers trickle down from the glaciers.

"Flåøya offers a fascinating cultural landscape featuring traces of human activity spanning from the Stone Age to the present day. During the Iron Age, Flå held a central position in the Sunndalsfjord, and the island is home to numerous graves dating from the Migration Period through the Viking Age. Many of these graves contain grave goods.

This area also contains the island's most recent graves, dating from the Viking Age. The oldest graves on Flåøya—containing artifacts from the Migration Period—are situated on the island's highest peaks. There are also outstanding viewpoints offering vistas of both the sea and the inland landscape towards the fjord."
