Arrival, Independence Day, Gum, Aquarium

Vicki and I arrived at SEATAC on separate flight about 90 minutes apart, hers from Orlando and mine from Santa Marta. We met at the luggage carousel, collected her checked bag and then took light rail and an Uber to Ben’s place in the Capital Hill District. There we had a joyful reunion with Maebel and Evan, and of course with Shelby, Travis, and Ben, too.
We kept it local the first few days, visiting downtown Seattle, including the Seattle Aquarium and the city’s icky “Gum Wall”, whose name aptly describes it. Shelby, Maebel and Vicki made a special cake to celebrate America’s independence in July 4th.Læs mere
