Around Puget Sound With Family

Once we acclimatized a bit, we rented a 9-passenger van and we started riding the ferries around Puget Sound and visiting friends in Bremerton, where we lived 1991-94. We needed such a large van because Charlie and his steady girlfriend, Marilyn, arrived to make the family gathering complete. In addition to just being together and rekindling friendships, one of the highlights was visiting the salmon ladder at Ballard Locks.
