• Flea market, street food and posh dinner

Headed out to explore the area, and it was absolutely mental. Chickens, horses and donkeys running around, mopeds flying round corners, got clipped on the arm a couple times, tiny workshops, food stalls and corner shops hidden in every cranny. sparks flying from metal workers and bike mechanics. Lots of activists stencil street art. Popped into a huge flea market where each souk is selling different bespoke items or just random materials and bric a brac. There are dedicated alley ways full of wood and metal and textiles - a designers dream. Stopped in a ceramics shop, where Aziz invited us to enjoy some fresh mint tea (or as he called it - Moroccan whiskey) with absolutely no agenda at all and left us to hang out. We have met some of the nicest people here. Street food lentils and chicken lemon stew, dip in the pool and cards at home before heading to our posh dinner rec from Freya. Authentic morrocan live music and a cocktail on the roof before the most banging monkfish tagine and lamb tagine we have ever eaten. Chill back to the gaff and sat up chatting with Hussein for hours about him leaving his mountain hometown to Casablanca at 14 years old with 50 dirhams (£4) to his name. What a guy. Time for some touristy shit today.Read more
