    Orengup

    September 19, 2018 in Australia

Packed up a very wet tent in the drizzling rain and headed for the Stirling Ranges. All the town names ended in “up” an aboriginal term for “Place”. Stopped at Orengup and went to the Museum who had a small wild flower display. Took some great photos both outside and inside the Museum. The woman running the museum explained they get mostly Mallee as this stretches right across from WA to Victoria.
Camping at the Moingup Springs Camp ground in the Stirling Ranges National Park. Spending the afternoon in camp, will travel the Stirling Ranges road tomorrow in search of more wild flowers.
