    Stirling Ranges National Park

    September 20, 2018 in Australia

Travelled the Stirling Range Road today, averaged 8klms an hour, taking 3.5 hours to travel 21 klms – reason? Wild flowers, of course, got a lot more today that we hadn’t seen before. Arrived Mt. Barker about lunch time, had lunch at the bakery, well known for its award winning pies. Mick had the lambs fry & bacon (said it was the best pie he had ever eaten) and I had the vegetable mornay, very delicious.
Camping at the Porongurup Range Tourist Park and planning to do the Castle Rock Skywalk and Balancing Rock walk tomorrow. A Class 5, 2 hour walk with awesome views to coast and farmlands.
