Denmark

Public holiday in WA for the Queen’s birthday, nothing open in Albany. Drove to Denmark, everything open, bought some foam to ease the hardness of the blow up mattress. Bought some lunch from the Bakery, Steak & Kidney Pie for Mick, Roast vegetable wrap for me and a very nice coffee. Denmark is such a pretty little town.

Drove out to the Franklin National Park. Initially checked out Crystal Springs and Mandalay Beach. Mandalay so named due to the Mandalay come aground on that beach and the incredible luck in the crew being saved. Everyone in the settlement, although having nothing themselves, provided what they could to feed and house the crew then get them safely home – incredible story.Leia mais
