Took a look around the Amity – the ship that bought the first convicts to Western Australia from Sydney. There were 23 convicts and about as many crew. A very small ship for so many people. The volunteer explained that the Amity first bought convicts from Scotland, will have to look up if my 3 x great-grandfather may have been one of them.
