Thursday 25th July

On Thursday 25th Peter and I moved out of Willerby and set up camp in Wolfgang on one of the touring pitches at Seafield. It was a warm sunny day and we had a magnificent sea view. Sarah, Andrew and Edward arrived early afternoon and quickly settled themselves into Willerby. I had requested a BBQ for my birthday but as the weather forecast was not looking good for Saturday, we brought it forward to Thursday. Edward tucked in with gusto enjoying griddles courgette and red pepper, potato wedges and a small piece of sausage. The adults feasted on huge tiger prawns to start followed by marinaded chicken, sausages, griddled vegetables and a wonderful potato salad prepared by Andrew from potatoes freshly dug from the plot the previous evening.
