Day trip to Laguna Charquini

I was still pretty tired after the bike tour but the day trip to Laguna Charquini was already paid so I had to wake up 6:50 for the tour 😅 Flo decided not to go as he had some pain after the bike accident yesterday so it was just me and our 2 new friends 😊. We drove quite a long time till the start of the hike but we had 3 stops on the way to see the beautiful landscapes, majestic Huyana Potosi mountain (6088m), lake Titicaca and cementery Milluni. The hike was quite easy, it took us only 1 hour up and around 40 minutes down. The issue was the high altitude, wo drove up to 4500 and hiked till 5029m above see level. We had to make a lot of breaks for drinking and breathing but we made it to the top to the Emerald lagoon and glacier. There were just a few tourists which was amazing, the hikes in Patagonia were much more busier. Overall after seeing so many glaciers and lagoons I could also skip this day trip. If you don’t go to Patagonia it’s definitely great activity outside of La Paz which doesn’t cost that much and it’s not that demanding. We returned quite early back to La Paz and chilled the rest of the day. We went with Flo to the great coffee place and had dinner with the girls one last time.Читать далее
