Sind heute eine Runde durch die "Marbles" = Alabama Hills gefahren oder besser gesagt - gerumpelt. Der Großteil davon war Gravel, eine eher schlechte Piste.
Dann ging es noch auf ca 2700 m hoch zum Parkplatz des Whitney Portal Trailsheads.
Der Mt. Whitney ist der höchste Berg Nordamerikas (außerhalb Alaskas) mit 4421 m Höhe. Dann ging es wieder zurück zum CP, wo wir den Nachmittag genießen werden.
