Exploring Arequipa

📍Arequipa, Peru

"We'll just have a few chill days in Arequipa" = straight into grade 3 white water rafting. My alter ego Kristen had a great time taking on the high jumps of Chili River screaming blue murder, whilst Adventure Adam jumped twice, barely saying a word.

But really, we've loved Arequipa so far. It's SO beautiful with incredible volcano scenery at every corner, and we think it's our favourite city we've been to on the trip. It feels more chilled than Cusco, and a bit more authentic. It also helps that we treated ourselves to a hotel with a garden so we can read our books, or in Adam's case, stream the rugby...
