    Tayrona National Park

    The goggles were well and truly out for this beautiful beach in Tayrona National Park, as was the cracking tans we've been working on.... 🙃

    We swithered about coming here at all and started to get confused about where was best to go to make the most of our time in the country. But in the end, we got FOMO about missing Colombia's biggest tourist attraction and booked in. It's home to indigenous people who live in the park, and we visited on the second last day of the season before they close for a few weeks to protect the environment so we were lucky with our timing. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, but it was an extremely sweaty walk in the humidity to get there, so we were knackered by the end. It was also my second time ever swimming in the Carribean Sea, which is literally like having a warm bath - bliss. I'd say worth the trip just for this!Read more
