Bus trip

The bus trip from the dock to Chichen Itza is a little more than 2 hours...each way. Thankfully, it was an air-conditioned coach style bus. Heather and I were midship on the starboard side.

Our tour guide, Cesar, talked the entire way, telling us about the towns we passed and some Mayan history. I wanted to sleep a bit, but it was too loud and not easy to get comfortable. We learned about the Mayan people and how accurate their calendar was.
