    Stewart River to Wenlock River

    June 25, 2024 in Australia ⋅ ☁️ 27 °C

Camped at Wenlock River crossing (east bank) 2 nights. Lucked a camp in middle of flowering Grevillea (glauca and fern spp), bloodwoods, and fruiting Canarium trees. Great views of Palm cockatoos feeding, first evening and second day. Good numbers of Tawny-breasted and White-streaked HE in amongst Gracefuls, Duskies, and White-throateds. Lots of opportunities master calls.
