Great Glen Way, Day 3

Today we walked about 10.1 miles through a forest then along the Caledonian Canal from Inverarry to the charming town of Fort Augustus. We were lucky, again (!), to have a spectacular and sunny day! In Fort Augustus, we satisfied our craving for chips with curry sauce, did some souvenir shopping, then landed at the Inch Hotel for the night. We have now completed a total of about 61 miles and 5 out of our 9 hiking days!Leggi altro
