Great Glen Way, Day 4: Above Loch Ness

Today's mileage of 7.3 was really challenging! Several miles of uphill through a fairytale forest opened into a long stretch of undulating, open landscape high above Loch Ness. We stopped a couple times for snacks and to chat with fellow hikers, then descended a scary, knee punishing few miles into Invermoriston and through the doors of the wonderful Glenmoriston Arms Hotel. Dinner was delicious and we are hitting the sack early to rest up for a 14 mile day tomorrow!Leia mais
