    A gentle day as Alice is still running well under parr leaving Alain as chief of food provisions and heavy lugging (good thing it is still v flat). The coast line is gentle, lined with oyster farms and beaches with flotillas of yachts further out to sea and plenty of houses just inland. We visited more megaliths today… generally over restored and over fenced off. Nevertheless the huge fallen megalith broken in 4 parts was striking: originally 20 metres tall and 330 tons dating from 5 million BC and pre any pyramids.Read more
