Cloud Kingdom Brunei

We had a week at home to wash off the dust from Hinchinbrook island. We went visiting our favorite spots and people in Townsville because Kiran and I were getting ready to be on the road again. We said our goodbyes to Pranali and Simba, and headed with our bags to the airport.

In the not entirely funny routing of airlines in North Queensland, we had to first fly 3 hours south to Melbourne to then catch a 7 hour flight to Brunei. We generally resisted doing the arithmetic and focused on the in flight entertainment. Until we were distracted by a sublime sight through the plane window. A white cloudscape of hills and crags and meadows - all made of clouds lay below us. We enjoyed this kingdom of clouds as we descended to the kingdom of Brunei.Read more
