Failed Beach Day

Our afternoon did not go as planned. I was really looking forward to having a nice relaxing beach day at Wasaga beach but the weather did not cooperate. Very windy and smokey from the forest fires. So the beach was fairly deserted. With it being the longest freshwater beach in the world I still wanted to check it out though. So we still went and walked along the beach for a bit, we just froze in the process. Luckily, before we left Blue Mountain we picked up new matching Roots hoodies as our keepsake from our honeymoon because neither of us packed for cold weather. On the beach we came across a fenced off area that is a nesting area of the piping plover an endangered bird. We didn’t get to see one though, there was guys there was long lenses and binoculars trying to see them as well but they also didn’t have luck well we were there.Leggi altro
