Slept in then rode into main part of town looked at famous Freo markets - but not much chop😳heaps of tourists everywhere. Looked at markets near harbour as well then to Freo prison. Looked around then rode to Bathers beach for late seafood lunch ! Sat there all arvo and watched the sunset ! Rode home- lovely arvo .Read more

Left Angie & Brian this morning after a lovely stay. Went up to Wireless Hill & got a Western Wattlebird.
Had a great time birding at Alfred Cove. Nothing new but better photos and a rail with chicks.

Oh we love this place.
So great to be back for another visit. Leaving Green Head a little earlier than planned provided some time for another visit. We haven’t wasted a single minute and have been all over the place on our bikes.
The car has sat unused the whole time we have been in Fremantle. We are 5k from the centre but it is an easy, safe and interesting ride.
The city is so much fun with inner city hip and beachside cool mixed tightly together.

Today we finished off a few jobs like grocery shopping, laundry etc. We also purchased a generator for when it will get super hot up north so we can use the air conditioner.
Later in the afternoon we went to the glowing rooms as it was right where I caravan park was. They had 3d glowing mini golf and escape rooms. We played the 3d mini golf so much fun...but I had to let Shane win of course 😂 the sunset tonight was so pretty..we missed seeing it from the beach but it was absolutely gorgeous so many shades of pink 💗Read more

Continual rain and extreme gale force winds today which are expected to continue for another week. We cancelled our plans to go to Rottnest Island because many of the ferries were cancelled due to the bad weather.
Had a look around old Fremantle with its original architecture and history. Worked on the van and managed to watch a movie for the first time on the trip.Read more
