Started the day off to a bacon and egg breakfast and then we all wandered down via a rocky track to Elizabeth Creek for a look, a very sandy creek with a good flow of water and some rocky rapidLue lisää

So today Gadi got up early and went on a guided tour of the Undara Lava Tubes situated about a 45 minute drive away. The caves are on private property snd the only way to see them is by guided tour.Lue lisää
Cruised up Cobbold Gorge this afternoon. Was very different to other gorges we have visited. Very narrow in places with towering cliffs on either side. Spotted a few fresh water crocs ... one attackedLue lisää

Just been for a swim in the infinity pool at Cobbold Gorge. Just chilly out 😊 after driving 60k of gravel roads to get here.

After getting back from our gorge trip this afternoon we did the drive out to the Quartz Blow Lookout for sunset.

Walking around this volcanic crater takes half an hour or so. It is easy to see the crater below from the rim. The aerial satellite view from Google gives a nice view of the entire crater from above
