We spent a few days with the Verschurens.
Had a fish not even a bite
Then a drive to Tumby Bay
Had lunch at the Seabreeze Hotel.and a walk along tbe foreshore
We all headed off to the town for coffee at Tumby Bay Bakery. Ian has had a very sore back/ shoulder since we left home. It seems to be getting slightly better, but only with the aid of panadol osteoLæs mere
Onwards! We caught a ferry from York Penninsula to Eyre Penninsula which was around 2.5 hours -and cut off lots of road ks. It lands at Lucky Bay which seems appropriate - we drove about half an hourLæs mere
Called into Redbank before we had lunch at the pub "catch of the day" glass of sav blanc while overlooking the foreshore and Jetty. Nice.
Then down to he road to a beach camp at Carrow Wells. OceanLæs mere
We left Cowell and drove hard for 30k to our next camp 😂. The Knob. A beautiful but rocky piece of the coast so had to wet a line for a few days, with some success I might add, where we were joinedLæs mere
Sunday morning fryup! Bit cloudy today, but no rain! We met Caroline and Sparky this morning. Sparky is an Australian Terrier, and doesn't like eating much, spends time on his back legs and likes toLæs mere
